The ability to inspire is a power that reaches across barriers and changes the world, and it also guides the life of DJ Inspire.
The Oceanside, California native's earliest memories are of learning how to play bongos, guitars, and drums. She loved the ideas the sounds inspired but hadn't found the way to get her foot in the door until fate stepped in and changed her life forever.
She worked at a cell phone store that hired a DJ for its grand opening. She was so captivated that the DJ noticed and offered her the chance to try it. It was love at first scratch.
She immediately quit her job and found Scratch DJ Academy in Los Angeles, deciding to move. That would mean sleeping on her mom's couch and required lots of sacrifices, but she was inspired. She learned from experienced veterans like Mr. Choc and Revolution and graduated at the top of her class.
The experience was priceless, giving her a firsthand look at all the aspects of a DJ's career and enriching her love for the medium. She's been able to pursue that love through her work as an A&R, DJ, and entrepreneur. She's the co-owner of MyDJPack.com, which creates industry-standard DJ Packs for independent artists and labels.
The packs include multiple versions (explicit, clean edits) and formats of a song, giving radio stations and DJs every file type they want or need. With nearly ten years in the game soaking up knowledge and new music and projects in the way, DJ Inspire is ready to live up to her name and spark the next big wave.
