Insanely Viral Used Car Commercial Is Changing the Industry

INJOWe have all come across those fancy car commercials that feature a devastatingly handsome driver, a dazzling landscape and a catchphrase intended to make its viewers swoon.

Well, a new car commercial is going viral, and it has none of those attributes. Even better, it's made for a used car.

The idea for the commercial came when Max Lanman, a Los Angeles-based writer and director, was informed his girlfriend Carrie Hollenbeck wanted to sell her 1996 Honda Accord.

So rather than throw a “For Sale” sign on the car and hope for the best, Lanman made a joke video that now has people bidding left and right for the vehicle, NBC's “Today” reported.

The video features the used Accord being driven in its natural state, meaning by a non-celebrity doing the typical activities we all do in our cars.

That includes driving with our pet on our lap, scarfing our food down, and whatever else we do to make our cars a little more like our living rooms and kitchens.
