Justin Bieber Accused Of Using 'Racial Epithets' During 2016 Street Brawl

Justin Bieber is in hot water after being accused of assault, battery, and damages to personal property in a new lawsuit, which was filed on Thursday (June 7), where a man claims that the pop superstar reacted violented after he took a photo of him in 2016.

In the lawsuit, Rodney Tobias Cannon claimed that he was introduced to the star on June 8, 2016, at the Westin Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio. When the 24-year-old chart-topper allegedly removed Cannon's sunglasses and put them on without permission, the fan took a photo of the star. Unfortunately, Bieber didn't appreciate that and his "demeanor dramatically changed" to irate, prompting the star to aggressively threaten to harm the fan if he didn't delete the photograph.

It only escalated from there when the pop star reportedly grabbed Cannon's shirt and punched him in the face, head, and body. Cannon said that he tried to subdue Bieber on the ground, but a member of the star's security team hit him in the head, causing him to lose consciousness for a short period of time. Cannon said that the whole debacle has caused physical and emotional harm. In addition to missing multiple days of work, he said that his sunglasses and clothing were destroyed in the process and is seeking damages to be decided at a trial.

According to documents, the singer's "threatening communications made in public in front of a number of people included the use of racial epithets." Insiders close to The Blast revealed that the pop star used the "N-Word" during the fight. If the scenario sounds familiar, that's because footage of the incident leaked online. In 2017, word had spread that Cannon filed a police report and the case was under investigation.
