Bebe Rexha Wore a Piece of Dolly Parton on CMA Fest, Sort Of

Bebe Rexha owes her CMA Fest sparkle to a legendary country connection.

The pop hitmaker performed “Meant To Be” with Florida Georgia Line Wednesday on ABC’s CMA Fest, and for the debut, she donned a glittery cowboy hat made by none other than Dolly Parton’s personal hat maker.

“I really wanted a hat full of crystals,” Bebe told reporters in June backstage at CMA Music Festival. The hat, which the singer calls her personal lucky charm, was emblazoned with 6,000 Swarovski crystals. “It was very expensive, but I said it was worth it,” Bebe added. “And it’s very heavy.” She went on to say her “grandmother listened to Dolly Parton growing up,” and she “felt like it was cool to have a good luck hat.”

“Meant To Be” is featured on Bebe’s latest album Expectations.
