On Thursday (February 21), Latresa Scaff and Rochelle Washington reportedly detailed their first encounters with the R&B singer. Latresa explained how Kelly allegedly took advantage of her at the age of 16 and provided physical evidence to back her claims. While Rochelle described how she escaped one of Kelly's sexual advances as a teen and corroborated other women's stories of abuse revealed in Surviving R. Kelly.
Both women recalled a time when they were in a hotel room with the singer as teens, and he allegedly "exposed himself and asked for a threesome, promising them he would put them in one of his videos," Page Six reports.
"It took a heavy toll on me," Latresa said, per Page Six. "So I feel like I need to be here today to tell what happened to me, because of all of the other victims that were affected by it as well."
The women's accusations come six weeks after Surviving R. Kelly premiered on Lifetime. As previously reported, the 52-year-old singer, who has denied all allegations of sexual abuse or misconduct against him, is currently under criminal investigation following the airing of the three-part docuseries, which detailed harrowing recounts of Kelly's alleged sexual abuse — told by seven alleged survivors — over the last 20-plus years.
Most recently, lawyer Michael Avenatti, who is representing a man he calls a whistleblower against Kelly, told CNN he handed over new footage (viewed by CNN) that "appears to show Kelly having sex with a girl who refers to her body parts as 14 years old" to Cook County State's Attorney's Office in Chicago.
According to CNN, the new footage is nearly 45 minutes long, features two scenes — one in a living room, another in a bedroom — is clear and explicit. "A naked man who appears to be R. Kelly is seen performing multiple sex acts with the girl. She is heard calling him 'daddy' multiple times. It is impossible to know her age just from the video. They both refer to her '14-year-old p***y.' Six times the girl refers to her genitalia as 14 years old," read CNN's report.
