Local Arizona breweries are holding virtual beer festival this weekend

Local beer for a good cause!

The “Keep Arizona Brewing Virtual Beer Festival” will take place from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on a Facebook group and through live video applications, such as Facebook Live and Zoom this Saturday afternoon.

It's all being hosted by the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild with ticket sales benefiting brewery workers across the state.

Tickets are $5 each.

T-shirts and VIP packages are available that allow participants to directly ask questions to local brewers. The guild is encouraging those taking part to pick up cans and bottles from their favorite local breweries prior to the event.

Via their website,

Here’s how it works:

  1. Buy a $5 ticket, or donate.(This is your donation to brewery and beer employees.)
  2. You’ll be invited to not-so-secret newsletters and the facebook group and we will send you links to where the festival digitally goes down.
  3. Pick up some of your favorite Arizona beer to go or get it delivered.
  4. Join us on Facebook and YouTube Live on Saturday, April 18th starting at 2 PM. We’ll have brewer interviews and virtual tours. We’ll also have music streams, too. Do all the festival type things that you normally do and post them like crazy using the hashtag #azvirtualbeerfest.
  5. Ticket buyers will be emailed relevant information 48, 24 and 2 hours before the virtual gates open.
