San Diego Woman Makes Drastic Coronavirus Recovery

Nina Detrow was diagnosed with coronavirus in March, when stay-at-home orders had just gone into effect in San Diego. When Nina initially became sick she thought that she just had the flu. As symptoms worsened, she was hospitalized and placed on a ventilator. Nina eventually got so sick, that she wrote a letter to her nurse pleading "Just let me die."

After weeks in the hospital, Nina is now home and continues to recover. She spoke with Robert "Sully" Sullivan on KOGO's RIGHT NOW program Monday night (hear the podcast below), and she recently joined KUSI TV's Paul Rudy for a very emotional interview about her ordeal. Take a moment to watch and listen. It's an incredible story.
