San Diego County to close bars, breweries, wineries that don’t serve food

Yesterday county officials announced the order to close all bars, breweries and wineries that don’t serve food by Wednesday July 1st. This comes as public health officials reported a single-day record of almost 500 new COVID cases, making it the fifth consecutive day with more than 400 new cases. County officials decided toclose drinking-only establishments due to the recent spike in cases and County Public Health Officer Dr. Wooten says “the pandemic is not over, the virus is still pervasive in our communities.
