San Diego extends eviction moratorium through September

San Diego City leaders voted in favor to extend the current eviction moratorium until September 30th. What this means is that landlords are prohibited from evicting renters and small businesses impacted by COVID as long as they notify their landlord in writing on or before the day rent’s due that they’re unable to pay. Following the written notification, renters have just one week to provide proof of the COVID related financial hit. Full story HERE
