Toni Braxton Drops Emotional 'Gotta Move On' Music Video Featuring H.E.R.

Toni Braxton is sharing her new cinematic music video for her song "Gotta Move On" featuring H.E.R., and the visual is an emotional one.

Directed by Mike Ho, the video showcases a couple's deteriorating rollercoaster relationship, and ultimately, the tough decision on the woman, played by Natasha Marc, to leave her man, played by Corey Calliet, before she walked down the aisle. The "Gotta Move On" visual features emotional tear-filled scenes that perfectly depict the song's lyrics, cut with Braxton singing the track and H.E.R. playing her parts on the guitar.

In the end, the bride leaves a message written in lipstick on the mirror for her no-longer fiancé as she walks away in her wedding dress: "Gotta move on."

"Gotta Move On" is off of Toni Braxton's Spell My Name album, which she released back in August. In a recent interview with iHeartRadio, Braxton explained that the track is one of her favorites from the project, and talked about how it came to be. She said:

"I think my favorite song on this entire project is ‘Gotta Move On.’ When I heard the track, I lost my mind. I got the track from Jeremih, who sang the song ‘Oui.’ Remember that song? Love him. Super talented. And I fell in love with it, and I said, ‘Can I do my thing?' He was like, ‘Yeah, do your thing.’ And I was very happy with how it came out, and it's a sexy song, but it's, of course, a sad love song. [At the same time], it's also, like ‘I'm determined, I'm going to get over you, and I'm going to move on.’ And I fell in love with it."
