Casanova has turned himself in to the FBI.
On Wednesday (December 2), the Brooklyn rapper's wife, Swaggy Jazzy, posted a video of her husband moments before he surrendered himself to authorities. His arrest came day after Federal investigators announced on Twitter that they were looking for Casanova in connection to their case against him and 17 other alleged gang members of the "violent criminal organization," Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation.
"Last night was the longest, worst, emotional ride of my life riding with my husband to surrender hisself knowing what heโs up against," Jazzy captioned the video that showed Casanova professing his love for her before turning himself in. "I just wanted to hold him in my arms and scratch is back (like he loves me to do) forever at that moment but Heโs the strongest man I know and one thing about Cas is he dont run from his problems he faces them like a man. We gon get through this."
She added, "Donโt believe everything you see! my husband is innocent until proven guilty always remember that and weโre gonna fight for his freedom! I love you baby me and Cassie got you like you had us and Iโm still repping 2โ 2thedeath."
In the video, Casanova told his wife, "I'm going in. Baby, I love you like cooked food. You know I'm a whole gangsta โ tough dude. I'll see you soon."
As previously reported, Casanova is one of 18 alleged gang members of the โUntouchable Gorilla Stone Nationโ who were indicted on a number of criminal charges, including murder, narcotics, firearms, and fraud offenses.
The Brooklyn rapper, whose real name is Caswell Senior, was charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, the FBI announced on Tuesday (December 1).
All 18 of the defendants, with the exception of one, are facing a maximum sentence of life in prison.
