A San Diego tradition is returning next month.
The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch announced it would be reopening to the public starting March 1.
"Last year our time together was cut short, and we missed you!" reads their website. "But this hiatus gave us time to reflect and rethink how we can be together again, safely- yet still offering the same mesmerizing experience."
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the gardens will have new guidelines and restrictions.
To keep person-to-person contact at a minimum, only advanced reservation tickets purchased online are available.
In addition, all visitors over the age of two must wear a face mask and social distance from other groups. Staff is also required to wear masks on the premises.
Guests may also be subject to temperature checks upon entry and of course, they encourage anyone feeling sick to stay home.
But pandemic guidelines aren't the only new aspect of the Flower Fields. There is also a new 2-acre U-Pick Blueberry Patch where visitors can pick their own blueberries.
People will have a chance to see the 50 acres of colorful flowers until May 9.
