Liam Payne's blood alcohol level at the time of his tragic death was "three times the legal driving limit in England," rendering him "severely impaired."

New reports obtained from the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office by Daily Mail revealed that the One Direction alum had "a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of up to 2.7 grams per liter in his blood" when he fell from his third-story balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires on October 16, 2024.

Alcohol was not the only substance in Payne's system when he passed. The official toxically report unveiled a cocktail of drugs present in his system, including "cocaine metabolites, methylecgonine, benzoylecgomine, cocaethylene, and the antidepressant sertraline."

The "Teardrops" hitmaker's death investigation is ongoing. Just last week, three suspects, Liam's friend Roger Nores and hotel employees Gilda Martin and Esteban Grassi, got their manslaughter charges dropped after the court ruled that there was "nothing the trio could have done to save Liam." Drug dealers Ezequiel Pereyra and Braian Paiz remain in jail as they await trial, per TMZ.

Payne was laid to rest in Amersham, England, on November 2024, with friends, family, girlfriend Kate Cassidy, and One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson all present for the ceremony. He is survived by his 7-year-old son Bear, parents Geoff and Karen, and sisters Nicola and Ruth.
