Ye doesn't want to be involved with Bhad Bhabie's beef with Alabama Barker.
The controversial artist felt compelled to speak out on Tuesday, February 25, after the Florida native unleashed her scathing diss track aimed at Travis Barker's daughter. Bhad Bhabie, born Danielle Bregoli, goes off on Barker over a sample of Ye & Ty Dolla $ign's "Carnival." After she dropped the music video, Bregoli also teased an alleged verse from Ye for the remix. The seasoned artist said he cleared the sample for "Ms. Whitman" but he wants zero part of the beef.
"I'm not in the middle of none of this AI beef," Ye said in a video he posted to his Instagram Story. "People throwing my voice on things. The whole 'Carnival' sample. I just talked to Travis Barker, I would never be in the middle. I don’t even know what’s going on. I just got sent a song and asked to clear the sample.”
"Only reason I clear anything is because so many people try to stop me," he continued. "They stopped clearances. Everything has been very difficult for me. So, I don't know if anybody asked me for something, but I'm not cool with being out in the middle of all this. So any verse that be going viral using my voice and all that, I didn't do it."
Bhad Bhabie has yet to comment on Ye's video. She's still caught up in the hype surrounding the record. The music video alone racked up 3.4 million views and over 333,000 likes within 24 hours. Alabama Barker has yet to respond to the track. She reposted Ye's message and even posted a photo of a studio set-up, which might mean she's preparing her next diss for Bregoli. Meanwhile, Bhad Bhabie shared for Barker after her song went viral.
"B***h get in the booth and stop makin calls," she wrote on her Instagram Story.
