San Diegans Set To 'Embrace The Heat'

San Diegans are going to have to embrace some hot weather starting Wednesday.

The National Weather Service is calling for a heat advisory for most of San Diego County. Temperatures for Inland areas will reach around 100 degrees through Thursday. Desert areas will experience highs between 115 to 120 degrees.

Adam Roser with the NWS tells San Diego's Morning News "We are looking at some increased heat risk this week for some heat and humidity." He adds there may be a monsoonal push over the next few days, which means "a little more humidity coming into play Tuesday through Thursday."

The good news he says is this is a short lived heat wave and temperatures will drop by at least 10 degrees by the weekend.
