There will be another human trafficking operation during Comic Con this week, after several arrests last year.
District Attorney Summer Stephan tells KOGO News, many of the victims forced to work large events like this start when they are under the age of eighteen.
"We want everyone to be aware that our human trafficking task force is very active, it's a gold standard" she says.
Fourteen people were arrested during Comic-Con last year, and ten victims were rescued, including a 16 year old girl.
This weekend, 130,000 people will swarm to San Diego for the popular cosplay event, which attracts not only fans, but sex traffickers and buyers warns Stephan.
