Strong surf is expected along San Diego's coast this weekend.
The big waves will be fulled by the remnants of a hurricane that's been churning off the tip of Baja California, reports the National Weather Service.
Beaches could see four to six foot waves, with sets up to eight feet in the North County.
Narda was strengthening as of Wednesday, but will begin to fall part sometime Thursday or Friday. Energy from the storm will reach San Diego County by Friday evening and is expected to stay through the weekend.
