Flood watches are in effect for parts of Southern California, ahead of a storm that is moving in Tuesday.
Adam Roser with the National Weather Service tells KOGO News San Diego will get some rain, just not as much as other parts of the state.
The storm is set to bring anywhere from a quarter-inch to a half-inch of rain to the coast and valleys, with higher amounts possible in the mountains and North County, according to meteorologists.
The low-pressure system is also expected to bring gusty onshore winds. Wind gusts were expected for the mountains and deserts with gusts between 30 to 40 mph and exceeding 55 mph in the wind-prone passes and slopes.
Evacuation warnings for possible flooding and debris flows have been issues for burn area in L.A., including the Palisades, Eaton and Sunset fire areas, from January.
