Voters in Tuesday's Special Election overwhelmingly supported a recall of Poway City Councilman Tony Blain.
Blain, a u.S. Army Reserve doctor elected last year has been accused of vote trading, threatening recalls against colleagues and attempting to use law enforcement to silence critics.
He earlier described the recall effort as "political backlash," designed to block him from fully participating in council meetings and punishing him for asking the tough questions taxpayers deserve to have answered.
