DEVELOPING: A Sinkhole in San Diego's Morena neighborhood has forced the closure of a number of lanes along Morena Boulevard this morning.
Police say the sinkhole formed around midnight on Morena Boulevard and Napa Street, due to a water main break in the area.
Around 7:30 Thursday morning, all southbound lanes between Buenos Avenue and Linda Vista Road were shut down for repairs. Only one northbound lane in the area is open. Repairs could take several days.
