Barrio Logan School Serving Homeless Kids Gets $100k Grant

The Monarch School serves around 300 students K -12th grade who are in a “homeless situation.” The Monarch School provides showers before and after school, toiletries, clothing and food to its students. But like most schools, it is closed due to the pandemic

However, The San Diego Foundation donated $100,000 to help Shelter, Educational Support & other services tp help students & families dealing with homelessness.
