Jackson recently celebrated the grand opening of his G-Unit Film & Television studio in Shreveport. He debuted the massive 985,000-square-foot compound on social media back in April and celebrated the launch during his Humor & Harmony Weekend in August. The 4-day festival featured performances from himself, DaBaby, Master P, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Moneybagg Yo, Muni Long and more. He also had comedians like Dave Chappelle, Katt Williams, Andrew Schulz, Matt Rife, and Bill Bellamy pull up to do some shows. Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith commended 50 Cent for hosting a successful event and confirmed there was a severe dip in the crime rate. At the time, Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux welcomed Fif and his team with open arms.

“We are thrilled that G-Unit Studios will plant its roots in Shreveport,” he told Billboard. “This city’s rich culture and talent provides the perfect backdrop for this endeavor. We are eager to collaborate with Mr. Jackson and G-Unit Film & Television to bring captivating movies and entertainment to Shreveport and Caddo Parish.”

50 Cent has plenty of productions currently underway including his documentary on Diddy. If the bill is approved by the Senate and the governor, the bill will end the program by June 30, 2025. However, 50 Cent isn't giving up yet. He told his followers to remain patient for now.

"I know people in Shreveport are sick right now, stay positive everything happens for a reason," he continued in a separate post. "I want to thank you for supporting me with Humor Harmony having zero violent crimes for 16 days, believe it or not that made that event one of my biggest accomplishments."
