San Diego Brain Tumor Walk 2019

The San Diego Brain Tumor Walk raises awareness and much-needed resources to fund critical brain tumor-specific programs to improve the lives of all those affected by brain tumors. Hosted by the National Brain Tumor Society, the San Diego Brain Tumor Walk offers individuals and teams a chance to honor and remember loved ones, connect with others interested in the brain tumor cause, and to help educate the local community on the diverse needs of the brain tumor community.

Location: The Waterfront Park, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101

Event Day Program

9:00 AM – Registration Opens

9:30 AM – Remembrance Ceremony near the balloon columns. This is an optional ceremony for people to join if they want to honor a loved one who has passed away. We will take a few minutes to read a poem and listen to a song and reflect on their memory.

10:15 AM – Walk Begins

11:10 AM– Silent Auction ends. Be sure to place your bids accordingly!

11:15 AM– Guest Research Speaker Dr. Redfern.

Rain or shine the event will go on! Regardless of weather, layered clothing, windbreakers, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended.
