Virtual Job Fair for Young Adults From National City Chamber of Commerce

The National City Chamber of Commerce is holding a Virtual Job Fair on October 22 for adults 18 to 29. The Chamber's goal is to connect South County employers with young adults interested in employment and career advancement. The event will also provide information about resources agencies, training programs, scholarships and career tips.

National City has felt the impact of the pandemic deeply, with unemployment rates have been as high as 35%. Concerns over the high unemployment rate, led the Chamber to organize the event, Jacqueline Reynoso, President and CEO of the National City Chamber of Commerce, said “The most impactful way to regain our quality of life is through meaningful employment and stimulation of our local economies."

The Virtual Job Fair will take place on the Zoom platforms from 9:30am to 1:30pm on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

Registration for the event must be done in advance, and can be completed here.
