In studio there was a conversation as to why do people wait until someone passes away to report abuse.

Normally the person who was abused is trying to protect their abusers. Rosie O’Donnell recently came out to talk about the abuse suffered from the hands of her father who passed in 2015. She says the abuse ended once her mother passed. Alleging someone abused you especially someone as close to you is hard for someone to come forward about it. Most families protect their abusers until they pass. Victims sometimes protect their abusers due to the way it is done, it’s hard to come forward about the pain someone so close to you may have caused...
