Valley Fire grows to 17,345 acres, 3% contained ahead of winds

Beginning with the Valley Fire, this morning sources close to us report that the blaze has claimed more than 17,000 acres in East County and sits at just 3% contained as of last night and fire crews are expecting the most challenging day today due to the Santa Ana winds that can kick up to 50mph. SDSU extends ‘stay at home’ order for students

Alright in case you missed it yesterday San Diego State announced they’re extending their current ‘stay at home’ order for students set to stay in effect through next Monday the 14th at 9am and this comes after a handful of cases were reported over the past few days and

school officials are asking us to remind students along with the campus community to remember to wash your hands frequently, avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, wear a facial covering and to get tested if you’ve been in contact with someone who’s sick or tested positive for COVID themselves (Full Story Here)
