CA lawmakers reach $6.5B deal to open schools

California lawmakers have just agreed on a $6.5B school reopening plan aimed at getting kids back in the classroom by as early as Spring. This said plan would require county health departments to offer vaccines to school staff and would also require schools seeking funding to reopen by as early as April 15th first to vulnerable students and those in lower grades including English learners, homeless students, foster kids and those without computers.
