The Pokémon Company has announced they will be having a virtual news event called "Pokémon Presents." The event will take place on Friday, February 26 at 7:00 A.M. PST/10:00 A.M. EST.
The news event coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon game series, leading fans to believe something big is going to be revealed during Friday's event.
According to Engadget, there has been unofficial buzz that remakes of DS classics Pokémon Diamond and Pearl could be on the way.
Fans are also speculating news about the upcoming release of Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Unite, or news about the Detective Pikachu 2 movie.
Although the content of the news event is still up in the air, people can expect around 20 minutes of new information about the company.
To watch, people can tune in on the Official Pokémon YouTube Channel.
In addition to the news event, the company is also celebrating its 25th anniversary with a virtual concert featuring Post Malone.
The artist released a cover of Hootie and the Blowfish's 1995 hit song "Only Wanna Be With You" in anticipationg for the Pokémon Day concert.
