You'll get a little break on your power bill.
The California Public Utilities Commission moves up the annual 'bill credit' during the spike in natural gas prices.
Each year, California gives customers an automatic credit on their bills after the state charges power, natural gas and other large companies for carbon pollution permits.
In San Diego, that credit is usually given out in april for natural gas customers and august and september for electric customers.
The CPUC has voted to move up a portion of the climate credits, and SDG&E says customers will get their automatic credits earlier, with $43 in February and $61 in March.
