Video of San Diego People Ignoring The Beach Ban

Mayor Faulconer closed all of the San Diego city-owned beaches and parks on March 23, 2020 in response to people ignoring the social distancing and stay-at-home order due to the COVID-19 outbreak. As surfers were out in the water and people were walking on the beach and boardwalk, people were still ignoring the ban.

One videographer caught a surfer being told to turn around and stop heading for the water, and he ignored the officers’ orders.
