Khloé Kardashian is opening up about more of the trials and tribulations she experienced during her marriage to Lamar Odom, including the "traumatic" time he burned her journals.

During an "Ask Me Anything" episode of her Khloé in Wonderland podcast on Wednesday (November 19), the Kardashians star recalled the heartbreaking moment her then-husband tossed all of her journals and diaries into a fire right in front of her, destroying special moments she had written down to remember for years to come, per Page Six.

"I loved it and everything was in these journals," she said. "And I remembered my ex-husband was going through it."

The Good American co-founder noted that Odom, who she was married to from 2009 to 2016, was having a "tough time." He has struggled with substance abuse issues and was even hospitalized in 2015 after an overdose.

"He was incredibly paranoid and found these journals that he knew I did all the time and was reading them and just was convinced that I was, like, taking notes and sending them to the government or something crazy," she said.

That paranoia allegedly ended up in him burning her diaries as she looked on in horror and anguish.

"I remember sobbing, tears streaming down my face," she said. "I could remember me on my knees, screaming, like it was years of my life in these journals, and they meant so much to me."

Even though Kardashian loved journaling, and still thinks it can be an "incredibly therapeutic process," the traumatic experience left a lasting impact and she has refused to journal ever since.

"Because I just felt like, wow, that was taken away in a f---ing blink, and what was the point?" she said, adding, "I'm not going to start a journal again and have someone destroy it, or I lose it. It's more, I'm going to say traumatic for me, but I just don't even want to open that up again."

However, Kardashian has seemingly found a silver lining in the experience that has influenced how she looks at things today.

"I think it just made me [realize]... you don't get to really keep anything in this world, and it's, maybe that's OK," she said. "I used to hold onto all these things, and sometimes I will write something, but then just throw it away. I don't try to replace what I once had."
